I've been fond of Vegas ever since my husband and I got married there.  My second novel, SURVIVAL OF THE FAIREST, takes place in Las Vegas when the fairy princess Talista goes a.w.o.l. from her survival training since she thinks she could survive a heck of a lot better in Vegas than she could roughing it in the woods.  All young fairies from Tali's realm are sent for a couple weeks to a remote humanspace wilderness to learn to live without magic, sort of like living without electricity, clean water, toilet paper, air conditioning, comfortable beds, a roof over your head, a computer with internet access, and a well-stocked pantry for a human.
