Why is this photo part of the site design?

The princesses in A SPELL FOR SUSANNAH have few dance partners to choose from.  That's because their land is fairy-cursed so that the nobility hasn't borne any male babies in thirty odd years.  (Thirty VERY odd years).  When their big sister manages to use her illicit magical skills to open a door to an enchanted palace filled with dancin' fools, otherwise known as the princes, the ladies are very, very, very happy.  Yeah.  Too bad the princes are...  Well, you'll have to read the story.
